Penha Longa– Atlantic Championship

The Atlantic Championship Course is the crown jewel of Penha Longa Resort — a masterpiece by Robert Trent Jones Jr., set among the rolling hills and forests of Sintra-Cascais Natural Park. This 18-hole, par 72 championship layout has hosted multiple European Tour events, earning its reputation as one of Portugal’s most prestigious golf experiences.

Every hole blends challenge and beauty, with sweeping views, water features, and tree-lined fairways that demand accuracy and imagination. Golfers will find elevation changes, strategic bunkering, and silky-smooth greens — the perfect test for those seeking a true tournament-level round.

After the game, unwind in the elegant clubhouse overlooking the course or enjoy fine dining at one of the resort’s Michelin-starred restaurants. The Atlantic Championship Course is ideal for experienced players, corporate events, and international tournaments looking for a world-class setting close to Lisbon.
