About the Golf Course
Once considered the “hidden challenge” of St Andrews, the Jubilee Course has evolved into one of the toughest tests on the Links. With rugged coastal holes, deep bunkers, and relentless North Sea winds, the Jubilee delivers a championship-caliber experience just steps from the Home of Golf.

Originally laid out as a 12-hole course to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee, the Jubilee Course was later expanded into a full 18-hole championship layout. Today, it is widely regarded as the most demanding course within the St Andrews Links portfolio.
Set along the coastline, the Jubilee offers dramatic sea views and exposed holes that fully embrace the elements. The fairways are narrower, the bunkers deeper, and the greens more contoured than its neighbouring courses.
It regularly hosts amateur championships and final qualifying events, underlining its reputation as a serious test of golf.
Where The Old Course is strategic and historic, and The New Course is precise and classical, the Jubilee is bold, raw, and uncompromising.
