About the Golf Course

The Dunfermline Golf Club, sometimes referred to as Pitfirrane Golf Club, is one of the best parkland courses in Fife. The club was founded in 1887 and has relocated three times since the early days. J.R. Stutt of Paisley designed the undulating and rather testing parkland course and there are no fewer than five par fives, the longest of which is the 528-yard 18th, Halkett's Hame. At times it can be a daunting task making par, but a challenge and a lot of fun nonetheless. The five par threes are stunning, with the 13th and 16th being perfect examples.
