Designed by former European Tour star Peter Townsend, in collaboration with European Golf Design, Ribagolfe Lakes (former Ribagolfe I) was designed to be a championship course of the highest standard.

Located 40 minutes from Lisbon, the course is set in a beautiful natural cork oak forest and, despite its 6,700 metres length, the par-72 layout is enjoyable to walk, being slightly undulating with small valleys.

With five tees per hole, it is suitable for the majority of players and offers the opportunity to score well providing you can negotiate the wide, tricky greens and avoid the well-placed bunkers and numerous water hazards, most notably on the risk-and-reward par-four 14th hole.

All this is in a perfect environment for golf practice, where you can only hear the chirping of the birds.
