Daitakarazuka Golf Club

Nesting in the hills of Takarazuka-shi, Hyōgo Prefecture, Dai-Takarazuka Golf Club offers a rich golf experience that blends the charm of a classic Japanese parkland course with modern upgrade touches. Spanning 36 championship holes across stunning landscapes, this club is designed to challenge your strategy as much as your swing.

The course architecture is distinguished by different designs across its four nine-hole layouts. The Nishinomiya course was renovated by renowned architect Ronald Fream, while the Ashiya and Rokko courses were originally designed by Masashi Sato and Hideyo Sugimoto.

Set amidst mountainous terrain, the layout incorporates bent grass greens, moderate elevation changes, water hazards, natural bunkers, and undulating fairways. Success here requires a thoughtful balance of strategic shot placement and precision—raw power alone won't suffice. Among its standout holes is the signature 9th on the Nishinomiya course, which offers stunning views of the clubhouse and waterfall and features a generously wide fairway.

Practice facilities are comprehensive, including a 200-yard driving range with 20 bays, as well as dedicated approach and bunker practice areas. All electric carts are equipped with GPS navigation and remote-control capability to enhance the playing experience.

Access to the club is convenient—by car, it’s just 8–10 km (approximately 10–15 minutes) from the Takarazuka IC on the Chugoku Expressway. For non-drivers, shuttle buses run from Hankyu and JR Takarazuka stations. Its location is also ideal for golf-centered stays.
