Located in the romantic and historic New Forest Estate, the 18-hole, par-72 championship golf course was designed by Peter McEvoy. New Forest Golf Club features a top-flight driving range, putting greens and pro shop. An 18th century mansion doubles as the Forest Golf Club's clubhouse, with luxury locker-room facilities, restaurant, conservatory bar and picturesque views. The terrain is flat and natural, with a mixture of tree lined holes, and holes that are more exposed to the elements. The full area of the golf course was built on a glacial deposit of sand and gravel, which was used as a foundation for all fairways, tees and greens.
