Monte Cimone Golf Club

Monte Cimone Golf Club was built in the shadow of Mount Cimone in summer 2003. Set in a wonderful lush green area of unspoilt natural beauty, it was built based on an initiative by the company S.I.R.S Spa, “steered” by the local entrepreneur Giampaolo Pelloni who had always believed in the resources of this magnificent territory. It is in a mountainous area, far from pollution, smog and traffic. This is almost an “enchanted” valley and is also ideal for families who wish to spend a few days breathing fresh air. The first 3 holes opened in 2005 and in 2007 work was completed on another 3 holes. Finally, in 2009 the course was finished and now boasts 9 holes. Technically, it is a mountain course that covers 2,194 metres, par 34, with undulating fairways and small greens. Hole no. 5 is especially difficult and players need to be particularly precise there. The golf club offers a bar with terrace, changing rooms, a small pro-shop, a putting green, a practice course with 10 covered stations and a pitching green area.
