The West Course: An 18-hole championship downland-style course measuring up to 6,808 yards (Par 72). It features seven holes with water hazards, including a signature par-3 16th where players must carry a lake to reach a green 40 feet below the tee. The East Course: A 9-hole parkland-style course (Par 35) that provides a shorter, more relaxed challenge. Its signature 24th hole is a "postage stamp" style par-3 measuring just 122 yards but surrounded by bunkers. Chalk-Based Soil: The course is built on a free-draining chalk subsoil, which ensures it remains open year-round with no temporary greens or trolley bans, even in wet winter conditions. Facilities and Amenities Practice Areas: Extensive facilities include a 280-yard outdoor driving range, two practice putting greens, and a 360-degree short game area with greenside bunkers. Clubhouse: A friendly, two-story clubhouse features a bar and restaurant with panoramic views of the course. It also houses a Pro Shop offering equipment and apparel. Instruction: The club is home to the Basingstoke Golf Academy, where PGA professionals offer individual and group coaching, including custom club fitting using launch monitor technology.
