About the Golf Course

Note: Booking a tee time at this club is a request, we will confirm the booking with Seapoint Golf Club.

Seapoint may be a relatively young links course, though the golfer experience gives testament to the quality of challenge presented by its designers. Since its doors opened in 1995, the course has hosted a European Tour matchplay event, two Irish PGAs and the country’s leading Amateur event, the Irish Amateur Close Championship.

Measuring 7,150 yards from its championship tees, Seapoint can be made a challenging test for even the best of golfers. However, with three to five tee boxes on every hole (including a set dedicated to winter golf only) the course is a fair test to ensure golfers of all standards can enjoy their round.

The golfing Gods and the weather conspire to ensure no two rounds are ever the same around this course, with wind often a factor. Our two loops of nine and multiple changes in hole direction offers the relief of playing downwind, the challenge of hitting into the wind and battling cross winds during 18-holes at Seapoint. It’s the essence of enjoyable links golf, alongside avoiding our revetted bunkers and cursing the odd, strange bounce. If you learn to take it all in your stride, will never tire of the challenge.
