Designer: Created by Clyde Johnston and opened in 1991, the course was specifically designed to preserve the area's natural beauty while providing a strategic game. Landscape: The terrain transitions between three distinct environments: towering oak forests, open pastures, and tidal salt marshes. Layout Features: Six holes directly border the Intracoastal Waterway (McKay's Creek), offering views that are especially scenic at high tide. Sixteen of the 18 holes are completely free of residential homes, allowing for an immersive "Lowcountry" experience. Includes island greens and forced carries over marshes, notably on holes 7 and 16. Sustainability: It is GEO Certified, an international distinction for environmental protection and sustainable course management.
