About the Golf Course

Located in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), the Humewood Golf Club is widely celebrated as the only "true links" course in Africa. Originally designed in 1931 by Colonel S.V. Hotchkin, the course features wide, undulating fairways and firm, fast bentgrass greens.

Nestled in the sand dunes of Algoa Bay, the layout is virtually treeless and exposed to coastal winds, which dictate the difficulty of play.
