Golf Son Servera
About the Golf Course
Club de Golf Son Servera is, for the greatest part, a gently undulating parkland course with generous fairways and rough, situated on the beautiful coast of Costa de los Pinos. Many evergreen oak, pine, olive, carob and palm tres line the path to the green. The greens are subtly undulating, and water is an enhancing feature on 6 holes. All parts of the course give fine views of the pine clad mountains and from many holes there are splendid views over the Bay of Cala Millor. At various times of the year, flowering oleander, bougainvillea and numerous hares, ducks and other birdlife create a colourful picture that makes the place truly exceptional.
Holes 3 to 7 are undoubtedly different as narrow tree lined fairways venture into the hills and twist between the lakes and pines making this stretch the toughest test on the course.
The Club de Golf Son Servera was founded in 1967 as the only members' club on Mallorca. The original course had 9 holes and was designed by John Harris and Francisco López. In 2012, the club extended its course to 18 holes.
