The first course anywhere in the world that was set up and built to be 18 holes from the day it opened for business, Designed by Tom Morris, 1871.

Forfar is now a modern, inclusive and friendly golf club that just happens to have a fantastic course notable in the history of the sport. The layout still stands the test of time and provides excellent variety of holes in a beautiful setting. A must play for any golf historian or anyone looking for a fun round and a friendly welcome.
