Campo de Golf Parador El Saler
About the Golf Course
The Parador de El Saler golf course is considered one of the world's best golf courses by professionals and enthusiasts, institutions and the sports media. Built in 1968 by Javier Arana, an internationally acclaimed Spanish golf architect, it’s located in the El Saler Natural Park, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, in the Autonomous Region of Valencia.
Its design considers its integration in the protected landscape (non-native species of flora such as the famous "Cat's Claw), and its course runs through different zones, from beach links, similar to the famous Scottish golf courses, to areas with typical Mediterranean vegetation. It's total length is 6,042 m, split into 18 holes, with a par of 72.
