About the Golf Course

Bandon Golf Club is set over 130 acres of fertile land in the Bandon River valley nestled in the grounds of the old Castlebernard Estate.

The golf course is a Par 71 parkland layout set amongst mature woodlands and natural hazards and is bounded by the original estate walls that date back to the 1700s. Holes 5, 6 and 7 are set around Castlebernard and offer a unique photo opportunity to visiting players.

The course boasts a wonderful variety of wildlife and is noted by the Golf Ecology unit as the course with the greatest number of wildlife species in Ireland.

Bandon Golf Club is located in the historic town of Bandon in West Cork which was founded in 1604. Bandon is located 30 kilometres south west of Cork city between the popular tourist towns of Kinsale and Clonakilty on the Wild Atlantic Way.
